Report an issue

Use the guided bug report to capture your version, surface, setup mode, reproduction steps, and a redacted log excerpt.

No GitHub account? Email info@yourstasis.com or use the contact form — the same people read both. Use email for billing, privacy requests, and anything you would rather not post in public.

Account and sync

Sign in or confirmation fails

Use the hosted app URL, not a localhost URL.
Check the confirmation email and refresh the Account profile after confirming.
Use Send reset email when the password is forgotten.

Snapshot load looks wrong

Save a manual snapshot after a successful enrichment.
If local rows already exist, choose Merge, Replace, or Cancel deliberately.
Remember that raw provider keys are local and must be entered on each surface.

Local / Ollama

Expected endpoints: API http://localhost:8787; Ollama OpenAI-compatible endpoint http://localhost:11434/v1.

Run .\scripts\Start-ResourceSummarizerLocal.ps1 from the repository root.
Run .\scripts\Test-ResourceSummarizerLocal.ps1 to check Node, API health, and Ollama availability.
Make sure Ollama is running and that at least one model has been pulled.
If the API starts but enrichment fails, confirm the selected model route is available locally and that hosted mode is not paired with a localhost provider.

Chrome capture and shortcuts

Pin YourStasis from Chrome's Extensions menu.
Open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and assign the current-tab command.
On Google Docs, Google Sheets, or protected pages, use the pinned icon or context menu when a page shortcut is intercepted.
If the side panel is blank, reload the extension from chrome://extensions, then capture a fresh tab.
If Chrome's Update button leaves the same version installed, open Settings > Version & upgrade, click Check for update, extract the new GitHub zip over the same stable folder, and click Reload instead.

Google Drive export

For copy/paste, turn Headers on, choose TSV, and paste into a blank Sheet.
For direct export, reconnect Google and confirm the destination Sheet is accessible to the signed-in Google account.
Check that the active prompt's columns match the destination before exporting.
Use New Doc when you want the same selected rows in a readable Google Docs table.
Private or protected Docs and Sheets may provide only visible title/context; the app cannot bypass Google permissions.

Common errors

Error	Check first
401	Hosted API access token, active provider key, and setup mode.
Failed to fetch	API base URL, Worker availability, CORS, and whether the local API is running.
Model unavailable	Ollama is running, the model is pulled, and the provider endpoint matches the selected mode.
Rows disappeared	Correct extension install/profile, browser storage, and whether a snapshot was loaded with Replace.
Pricing is weak	Use Redo with High effort and feedback about the missing pricing evidence.

What to include in a report

Open Setup, run Run preflight, then use Copy setup report. Review the redacted text before sharing it.
Surface: hosted app, extension, or local app.
Setup: hosted account, BYOK provider, or local/Ollama.
Browser and operating system.
One example URL or prompt name, with private content removed.
Redacted error log and the exact step that failed.

Never share: provider API keys, Supabase secrets, passwords, recovery links, or full account snapshots. YourStasis does not send the copied setup report automatically.
